Home Sweet Home

From Pastor Mary:

This Sunday, June 10, at the 11:15 service, the church family will be celebrating what God has done and will continue to do through our summer mission experiences.  Please plan on attending worship that I might be able to recognize you as representatives of our team.  96:ONE, the WELL, Chattanooga, and Yucatan teams will also be celebrated.  You may sit anywhere in the sanctuary but if possible, find a place closer to the front so people can easily see us all.  I will not call out individuals but recognize you all by group and then pray for everyone.

Do you remember I told you that we would be singing “Ama a tu Señor” at the close of the service?  Be prepared to just come forward during the last hymn, “Glorious Things of Thee are Spoken” and we will gather on the chancel steps near the piano, positioned to sing before Lane gives the Benediction.

I have also offered our lovely singing voices at the close of the 9:45 service. If you are attending that service, please just come forward during the last hymn, “Glorious Things of Thee are Spoken.”  If you are in Sunday School (which I hope many of you will be) quietly gather in the hallway behind the pulpit area at 10:35.  You will reach this “secret” hallway by taking the steps located on the lower level at the end of the Preschool hallway.  You, too, will come around to the chancel steps during the hymn.

Lane will say the Benediction and we will begin singing!
