Thursday

Up and out. Breakfast is at 8:00 a.m. And the trucks are loading up at 9:00, ish. Lots of finishing up today and as usual, one more tiny cement job to do. A crew of schleppers moved 40 plus bags of concreto. The hospital crew was at it all day and the finishing touches at the Chulumal homes had to be completed. Did I mention it was also Market day, so the roads are blocked and yes, we had a few set out on foot to seek out a bargain or two. Tomasa got her stove done. Door and window was completed on Chulumal 1. Chepacaul (that would be the phonetic spelling) got a new table and benches; hand crafted and painted by RPC. Blankets were delivered. Soccer gear, complete with shoes all delivered. New hospital gowns delivered. New dresses delivered. School supplies dropped off. And a visit with the local shoe store (ask your kids). Te hospital team gets extra kudos for the intense work done there. What a task! They didn't get back till after dinner started and nobody wants to miss dinner at CDR! This is our last night in Chichi and we closed with a beautiful worship by Pastor Mary. Off to the big city tomorrow. We'll see you soon. Keep those prayers going!
