Up early and out by, well, we finally made it out. Newbies are a little slow to get into the flow of things, but oh we did get it going. Work crews out first. Two VBS groups met with the local students. Smiles and laughter for the gringos are in town! At noon we switched gears and rolled up our sleeves to start a build. Actually, two new houses were the goal. Chulumal 1 ran into a snag with only a handful of nails on hand. Awe. Chulumal 2 (who had to hike over their site) made their way (many thanks to Margaret) over to meet up with the Pray America guys. Imagine the surprise when the two Lisa's showed up with an entire work crew of girls. Hmmm, they didn't seem to be impressed. I promised the guy that we were more capable than we appeared. Hours later and we were praying with the new homeowner! Grandmas and her grandson, Mario, was moving in as we left the fully completed new home! Whoop whoop! Just in time, because here comes the rain!
